What’s our elfspiration?
The idea for elfShare came about when we wanted to get presents for our families but didn’t know what to buy. We needed gift inspiration, but also a website that would help us learn and keep track of what our families wanted as a gift for birthdays and the holidays.
We created a website to keep not only our families' and friends gift desires in one place, but important information like their delivery addresses and important dates to remember such as birthdays, anniversaries and a place to store upcoming holiday gift lists.
We had the vision to make a real social network dedicated to sharing gifts and communicating. elfShare offers a user-friendly experience and is NOT a platform to be used as a battleground for the next great political debate. We believe that people will enjoy giving and sharing with each other more whether they live close to one another or thousands of miles away.
Gifts are more than material. Gifts are special and can symbolize many things: thoughts, emotions, memories, or positive intentions and best wishes for the future.
A gift is in fact much more than a gift: it’s one of the 5 languages of love (and friendship). What every gift has in common is the goal of making the recipient of the gift feel loved and appreciated, happy, and satisfied.
It’s in this spirit of giving that we created this platform called elfShare to bring more joy on Earth! We could know exactly what our brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews want for their birthdays or for the holidays. We know this platform can help other people too!
